Gallatin Canyon Women’s Club President’s Message 2021
This year the Gallatin Canyon Women’s Club celebrates its 94th year! That is an incredible legacy for the women of the Gallatin Canyon and the surrounding area and we are all very fortunate to be part of its history! 2020 became a year that we will never forget and as we begin 2021, we will have faced more challenges than I could have ever imagined.
With the Covid pandemic still very active, the Board has decided that this season of the GCWC will be virtual via Zoom. While that is certainly not our first choice, we feel strongly that it is best for the safety and well-being of our membership. We have every hope that we can return to in-person meetings next year. The Program Committee has been hard at work making arrangements for some wonderful speakers. Our meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 3:00pm until 4:00pm MST beginning in June and concluding in September. Please watch for further details.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the members of the Board for all of their work and a very special thank you to Sue Arneson who after nine years of service on the Board has retired to work on other projects! I would also like to thank you, the GCWC membership, for your support as we have navigated the pandemic!
With warm regards and best wishes for good health,
Stacey Chapman President, GCWC
